A:- The title of Thurber’s essay is accurate because
it has given the reader that author wishes to bring out the foolish and harmful
effect of the people.
Q2:- How and Where did the panic started?
A:- It was March 12,1913 the panic came spread in the Columbus city, Ohio, USA
that the dam came and broken.
Q3:- How did the panic last and how was the order
restored?
A:- Order was finally restored by Arm riding through
the city in motor-lorries on the mega-phone.
Q4:- Why did the citizen of Columbus not care to talk about the events of
the March 12,1913?
A:- On March 12, 1913 a rumor spread that the Ohio river was in flood so that people panically running
to East.
Q5:-How did the panic in the cinema on High street?
A:- In the cinema-house the panic started when people
heard the sound of the feet of running people outside. Suddenly a woman shouted
“Fire” and every one rushed out.
Q6:-What can we gather about grandfather ,s age? And
Mental Condition?
A:-Grandfather was a retired army-man and about
sixty-two years of age.Due to his old age , he was mentally sick.
